TGMA: Eno Barony Demands 'Female Artiste of the Year' Category Be Added

Eno Barony, the rap sensation from Ghana, is pushing for the Ghana Music Awards to include "Female Artiste of the Year" category.

The celebrated rapper thinks that women in the music business will advance significantly as a result of this action.

The rapper "Heavy Load" stressed the value of identifying female potential in a field that is dominated by men in an interview with Property FM.

According to her, acknowledging the potential of female artists in a field dominated by men will not only give it much-needed momentum but also foster a more welcoming and equal atmosphere.

Eno Barony emphasized that her idea may improve the standing of female performers and enhance Ghana's music landscape, and she pleaded with the award organizers to give it careful thought.

"Because I know it will happen, and it will enhance our work and make the female artists feel valued." There are a lot more women entering the music industry, and that group will undoubtedly grow; we just need the media to give us the encouragement we need. Support for women is necessary, particularly for those in the rap industry, since new categories will be made for them as they become more vocal, the speaker stated.
